Oh No Not Again!

Oh, No, Not Again!

The temperature’s dropping,
Dark clouds above are looming.
Thunder rolls across the sky,
It’s sound around me booming.
Sprinkling rain upon my head,
Downpour coming, I’m assuming,
The light outside is fading,
Another cold front is looming.
Visibility is poor,
The mist is all consuming.

It’s supposed to be spring
With warmer weather to stay,
But cold front after cold front;
Antarctic blasts have their way.
I shiver, dressing in case
There’s another cold snap today.
Patiently I live in hope
That when the rain has gone away,
I’ll feel the warmth upon my shirt
When the sun comes back to play.
