Now there are Five

Poplars stand tall in their jackets of autumn gold,
The last of the blackberries ripen in the sun,
Apples ready for picking, waiting to be sold,
Autumn, once again, has well and truly begun.

Bracken ferns turning brown, to sprout again in spring,
Lining the track through the remnant eucalyptus bush
As along the leaf littered track five go exploring,
Members of the southern Supascootateering push.

Through the dappled light, enthusiastically
Riding the trails of Margate, pausing by the Bay,
Each excited, walking on wheels, once more running free
Enjoying the company, enjoying the day!

Sipping coffee at the well known Margate Train,
Sharing time together before we ride again.
