Pointing the Finger

I hate to tell you this,
But, you know how it is,
Aussies just love to laugh,
Always on a Mate’s behalf.

Lewis chose to locate
A new track for his Mates.
In Lindisfarne was good,
Being his neighbourhood.

He was travelling fine
Before a steep incline.
With no warning at all
Lewis started to fall . . .

The poor bugger had flipped
When the scooter had tipped,
And lay there upended
His sky view extended.

So, it’s needless to say
We didn’t go that way
When we met for a ride
But, then,
We had Lewis to chide!
