When nothing of consequence comes to pass?
Thy words are hollow, devoid of content,
Misleading, couched in spin, with meaning sparse.
Wouldst thou continue to block a commission
To investigate the integrity
Of politicians who make decisions
That smack of rorts and lack authenticity?
Wouldst thou not have me believe you care
When women staff endure so much heartache,
When aged in your care suffer from despair
When fires leave homeless in their wake?
Ah, but thou art entitled and do not see,
The plight of folk in our community!
