Over the handlebars with Wee Will
Coastal Delights
Wee Will paused on the scenic coastal track,
Gazed longingly at the sandy beach below,
Then at the giant rock before: Go back?
Or give the steep, granite descent a go.
The lure of the Bridport beach was strong.
The Supascoota with Wee Will astride,
Flew headlong down the rock and along
The beautiful beach, to the riverside.
A wharf-side visit to admire the craft before.
Boats nestled at extreme low tide in mud –
Island Traders; Matthew Flinders III and IV,
Both quietly, waiting for the tide to flood.
The bush and the beach keep calling Wee Will
And the ‘scoota helped him enjoy them still.
